Part of Speech inflections

Process of word formation in which a word is modified to express different grammatical categories such as tense, case, voice, aspect, person, number, gender, mood, animacy, and definiteness.
The inflection of verbs is called conjugation, and one can refer to the inflection of nouns, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, determiners, participles, prepositions and postpositions, numerals, articles, etc., as declension.

Inflections are managed inside the part of speech screen.

Add an inflection

You'll find a button to "Add conjugation/declension" after the properties of a PoS.
This operation might need to clear up some internal values, instead of deleting them, it marks them as deprecated.

You'll be asked to provide a name for this inflection.
After that you'll see the inflection information screen.

Inflection properties

• Inflection name
  The name to identify this inflection.

• Non-dimensional
  Make the inflection not have dimensions.

• Notes
  More information about this inflection.

Dimensions

You can add dimensions to an inflection.
As an example, your inflection might be "Tense" and your dimensions will be "Present", "Past" and "Future".

When you click the button "Add dimension" PolyGlot will ask you to type a name for this dimension.
After you've typed it, PolyGlot will add it to the list of dimensions of this inflection.

You can edit the name of a dimension by clicking it.
You can delete a dimension by clicking the trash can at the left of its row.
